Product Overview

Customized TMJ Joint Implants are patient-specific prosthetic solutions designed to replace a damaged or dysfunctional temporomandibular joint. Created using 3D imaging and CAD technology, these implants are tailored to each individual’s unique anatomy, ensuring precise fit, optimal function, and reduced surgical time. They are primarily used in cases of TMJ ankylosis, severe arthritis, trauma, congenital deformities, or failed previous surgeries.

Manufactured from high-quality biocompatible materials such as titanium alloys and UHMWPE or cobalt-chrome for articulating surfaces, these implants offer excellent strength, stability, and long-term performance. Customized TMJ implants restore natural jaw movement, reduce chronic pain, and significantly improve facial symmetry and overall quality of life.

Advanced Planning for Predictable Surgical Outcomes

Our Customized TMJ Joint Implant is designed with a patient-first approach, combining clinical expertise with advanced digital planning. Using the patient’s high-resolution CT data, we develop a fully individualized prosthesis that ensures a precise anatomical fit, improved joint function, and long-term comfort. This solution is ideal for complex TMJ conditions such as severe arthritis, trauma, or failed prior interventions.

The entire surgical workflow is guided by detailed preoperative planning, including condylar resection mapped out in advance. Patient-specific surgical guides are supplied to execute the resection exactly as planned. These guides also function as drill guides, enabling accurate pre-drilling of fixation holes at predetermined angles. This planning-based approach enhances surgical precision, reduces intraoperative adjustments, and contributes to predictable clinical outcomes.
